About Martin House Children's Hospice

Martin House is a children's hospice, based in Boston Spa, which serves North, West and East Yorkshire. Martin House cares for babies, children and young people with a life-shortening condition, and their families, offering planned respite stays, emergency care, symptom control and the best possible end of life care and support in bereavement. Life-shortening means that the child or young person is not expected to live beyond young adulthood. Every year, we support over 550 children, young people, and their families plus around 200 bereaved family members at our hospice, in hospitals and in families’ own homes. We focus on enhancing the quality of a child’s life and create vital memory making moments, that our families can treasure forever. There is no cost to any of the families using our services. Support from local businesses means that we can help more families when they need it most.
