About Pyramid of Arts
Pyramid has been supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism to create art work in Leeds for over thirty-five years. We are one of the few organisations in Leeds who support people with profound and multiple learning disabilities in this way.
We know that the work that we do at Pyramid is special. We are proud of the artwork and events that we have on display throughout the city, from permanent statues at Meanwood Valley farm to exhibitions at community venues like Bramley baths and Seagulls paints. This work inspires pride in our members and shows people the amazing things that artists with learning disabilities and/or autism are capable of.
Pyramid’s great work goes far beyond the artwork that our members make. We offer bespoke packages to make sure that each member receives creative support which meets their needs, whether this is a part of a group or through 1:1 support from a non-disabled artist. Our members learn new skills at Pyramid, improve their mental health and make friends for life! Parents and carers often approach us to let us know that the service we provide is life-changing for our members and their families.
